Living God's way

God has been so good to me and my family. I never thought I would have made it to June, but God is in total control. Just last week we had run out of money and needed to pay our bills. I prayed and left it in his hands. The next day someone paid me for some video work I did and we were able to make another pay day. God is so faithful to provide for his children if we will only ask and have faith. A couple of weeks ago Lindsay was involved in a car crash, I praise God she was not hurt. I remember driving over to where she was and just thanking God that my little girl was OK. Car's can be replaced, but human lives's cannot. Take time to thank God for your children. I guess I will run for now, keep trusting in Gods word and watch as your life becomes what he wants it to be.

To all my friends: I want to take a moment and thank you for everything you have done for me and my family. I can’t thank you enough for all your prayers, love offerings, and support during some of my darkest days living without a job. We truly could not have made it to where we are today without you. I say this because as of Monday the 23rd of April, I will be stepping out on faith and living a dream that has been on my heart for many years. Phyllis and I will be moving to Austria and will be working for Green Peace to save the whales. Ok, just kidding. We will be starting a video business together. Over the years I have video taped my share of weddings and I really enjoyed doing it. So why not do it for a living. This of course is a big step for us and will require much faith but we truly believe this is what God wants us to do. We have no idea how we will get the money we need to start up the business or the money we will need to live. But we do know this; in the words of Pastor Freddy. ”God’s will, God’s bill. So with that said, I thank you again from the bottom of my heart. Please let me know if you know of anyone who needs something video taped.

Now to change the subject a little, our LifeGroup is going well. We did have a "Crash" last week, Terry was hit by a car while riding his "New" Bike, it happen right after our group meeting. Terry broke two small bones in his back, the doc said he should make a full recovery. Terry's bike was not so lucky, looks like a total loss. We continue to pray for Broke and thank God for her remarkable recovery. We are studying James and learning so much from the word.

Waiting for those two magic words

"You're Hired".........Wow...I am still without a job and boy am I trying hard not to get frustrated. I still believe God has a great job for me, I just need to wait upon his timing , not mine. FLC and our families have been just awesome to us. We can not thank you all enough. Your gifts have helped us out so much, I thank God for each and everyone of you. Now for an update on our Lifegroup. We are studying the book of James and we are really learning more and more of what God word says. We are pleased to add James and Missy Smith to our Lifegroup flock, and yes, we still enjoy the company of the world famous "Ed Obey" He even has blessed up with the company of his wonderful daughter "Christina" We can now see who got the looks in the family. God continues to work in our lives and answer our prayers. We Praise him for Healing our dear friend...Brook.

31 years in the workplace

"I am sorry to inform you that we are deleting your position" Those were 12 of the most gut-wrenching words I have heard in thirty-one years of working. Many thoughts went though my head as I tired hard to understand just what my boss was telling me. Then it hit me, I no-longer have a job. What will I do? How will I pay my bills? How will I feed my family? How will I be able to pay my rent? Your mind goes a mile a minute. All I wanted to do was get into my car and go home. Once I got home I knew I had to tell my family that I no-longer had a job. We are now within 2 weeks of losing every thing we have, but I serve a BIG God and I know he will provide all my needs. The Bible said not to worry about tomorrow. Well tomorrow never comes, so I will have nothing to worry about. God is so good to me and my family. My Christian brothers and sisters at FLC are the best. I thank each and every one of you for all your prayers. stay tuned and I will tell you about the awesome job God has lined up for me, it's out there, all I have to do is trust in him and get my work clothes ready. I AM TRULY BLESSED!

More of Thursday's with the Price's

G man again,

Just wanted to share some more things about our great lifegroup with you. We will be going on a two week Cruise in March with stops at the Cayman Islands, and Saint Vincent & The Grenadines. After a short rest back home, we will be heading out to Switzerland by way of Norway, Austria, and Denmark.

Thses trips will be lots and fun and the best thing of all is they are free to everyone in our lifegroup. That's right, I said Free....

We will also be traveling to Walt Disney world in May. We will be there for two weeks staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. All tickets and meals are included. We will each be treated to a 90min Spa treatment while we are there.

Did I mention that this trip is also free to everyone in our lifegroup? That's right, I said Free...

Remember in my last blog I mentioned the World Famous "Ed Obey" He will be picking up all the tabs for us. Ed was in a car crash and he just got a "Huge Judgement" in his favor. So please thank Ed when you see him.

Thursday's with the Price's

Hey G-Man here,

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have a killer (no-one really gets killed) lifegroup going on every other Thursday night at the Juliet and Bryan Price crib. We are currently digging into the word that God has left for us. Right now we are studying 1 Corinthians and are really learning what God's word has to say to us

Not to get you excited, but our group does have the "World Famous Ed Obey" in our group. We have "High Flying" Bryan Price and the one and only "Cold Stone Steve Austin"
